About this webinar
This webinar is for clinicians and people working in healthcare settings in Aotearoa who want to learn more about using strategies and tools within lab testing systems, specifically in relation to supporting the self-determination of trans and non-binary people. This will be particularly relevant to people working in primary care.
This is part of an ongoing conversation about how to recognise the current limitations of our health system and work transparently and collaboratively to best meet the needs of trans and non-binary people. Lab tests are an essential part of our healthcare system and we want to increase knowledge and build relationships between clinicians and lab testing staff.
This conversation includes a presentation from Melanie Adriaansen (she/her/ia), the Laboratory Quality Manager at Waitematā District, Te Whatu Ora, and discussion facilitated by Te Ngākau Kahukura.
