We work strategically with key leverage points including funders, political decision makers, researchers, training providers, sector bodies and large agencies that provide health and social services.
Our Five Key Strategies
One
Advocating at a systemic level for understanding and inclusion of rainbow people’s needs in national policies.
Two
Developing best practice guidance and working with agencies and educators to embed this in professional practice.
Three
Working with health and social services to review and improve their practice, including through updating policies and training front-line staff.
Four
Sharing accessible, evidence-based information about rainbow issues to enable learning, and working with population researchers to improve the quality of evidence available.
Five
Collaborating with rainbow community experts to identify the most effective and sustainable ways to make change that will positively impact rainbow people’s lived experience.
Our work includes:

In all of these activities, we actively collaborate with the rainbow support sector to build their capacity and ensure our work is centring lived experience and diverse rainbow expertise.
